Description

Authentic sterling silver religious cross pendant. This vintage designer pendant is centered with a lovely square shape mother of pearl shell tablet. The inlaid mother of pearl has a nice lustrous color that billows with whitish light at the wearer moves. The segmented sections of the cross are adorned with sparkly faceted marcasite. The marcasite has a nice metallic sheen that catches the light and contrasts nicely with the mother of pearl. Each end of the cross is finished with an imitation pearl. The faux pearls have a nice warm creamy color. The skin of the top imitation pearl has worn through in a couple tiny spots. The cross measures two inches from top to bottom by just over one and 3/8 inch from side to side. The cross is suspended from a matching articulated triangular shape bail. Stamped on the back of the cross, and on the bail, is "925", denoting sterling silver in fineness. The pendant has been lightly cleaned but not polished. Shows some age-appropriate wear but overall, nice estate condition. Weighs a very solid but comfortable 7.1 grams. No international shipping or shipping to a non-confirmed eBay address.
