GENERAL BUSINESS POLICIES : CANCELLATIONS : Except under very unusual circumstances, I WILL NOT CANCEL AN ORDER, if a buyer makes a request for me to do so, if a buyer has already paid for the item or has already committed to buy it by submitting a "Best Offer," so please make sure that you really want an item before you complete the purchase for it with "Buy It Now" or make an offer for it using the "Best Offer" option. RETURNS : For most of my items I do not allow returns/refunds, but if I do allow returns for a particular item, it will be stated in the ad for that item. I will allow a return, however, if an item arrives damaged, and I will pay the return shipping cost, if I want the buyer to return the damaged item. Fortunately, I have never had a customer receive a damaged item from me because I pack my items very well for shipping. Green-Blue Mother of Pearl Carved Gemstone Cross Pendant This is a cross pendant that has been carved from "Mother of Pearl" . It is a pretty shade of green-blue. It has a clear glaze coating on it. I've posted photos of the cross in different light settings. What is "mother-of-pearl"? Wikipedia defines it as "the NACRE--an organic-inorganic composite substance generated as an inner shell layer of three types of mollusks--pearl oysters, freshwater mussels, and abalone." I have additional jewelry for sale in other ads. These include the following: bracelets, bracelet & necklace sets, rings, earrings, and pendants. Some of the jewelry is made of natural (genuine) gemstones and metals such as sterling silver, solid copper, or solid brass. Other pieces of jewelry are made of a combination of silver-plated or gold plated metal and gemstones (either natural or lab-grown/man-made). Other pieces of jewelry may be made of Tibetan silver (which usually is a combination of copper, nickel, and zinc, but may also contain tin, iron, or silver) and lab grown/man-made gemstones or genuine gemstones. Still other pieces of jewelry may be made of a combination of different types of metal and either natural or lab-grown/man-made gemstones. I also have some pieces that would be classified as “fashion jewelry.” These pieces may or may not include genuine gemstones, and may or may not be made of sterling silver, copper, or brass. Sometimes they are made of a plated metal and simulated gemstones, with the gemstones being made of various materials (plastic, glass, etc.) that are meant to look like genuine gemstones. I may, at times, have pieces of jewelry that are made of gold-filled metal (probably 14 kt yellow gold filled) and genuine gemstones. While many of the items that I have for sale are pieces of jewelry, I also have other items, such as the following: DVDs, books, sewing patterns (mostly ladies & crafts), multi-colored handmade woven cotton loop pot holders, designer/name brand purses/totes, ladies clothing, ladies boots, and other odds & ends. I will combine shipping costs on multiple purchases to provide you with a discount. Just be sure to add all of your items to the cart and pay for them all at the same time in order to get this combined shipping discount. The discount should automatically be applied when you add the items to the shopping cart, but if you see that it is not, please click on the option at the top of the cart that says "Request total from seller," or send me a message letting me know, and I will email you an invoice that includes this discount. For items that I sell for which I do not offer free shipping, I charge a handling fee of $2.00 per order--not per item--and this will already be figured in with the shipping fee. For instance, if one of my ads states that the shipping cost is $5.79, the actual cost to ship the item is $3.79, and the other $2.00 is the handling fee. To avoid additional handling fees, and to ensure that you receive the combined shipping discount, be sure to add all items that you would like to purchase to the cart and pay for them all at the same time instead of paying for each item separately.
